I just got this error (naturally with a promising character) while dropping a single iron ingot with the command that lets you select multiple items to drop them. Maybe the object has something to do with it... as it is, I am probably never going to pick up ingots again :) Die Gedanken sind Frei |

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the extended drop command <Ctrl-c> is the culprit rather than what you are trying to drop....but I might be mistaken on this one. |

I've got Win95 and get 291s occasionally. On the r.g.r.a there was a post a while ago from someone that said that he had a copy of a savegame which could be crashed by using the extended drop on some ignots, so it really might be that they are bugged. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
