Vivaldi rules. Especially his "Four seasons" :P

I also agree that Vivaldi Rules.

95% of the time I play ADOM in silence.

Some of the tunes I do listen to while playing:

Orff - Carmina Burana (for some power gaming)
Holst - Mars (or any of the other planets with perhaps the exception of Saturn)
Zepplin - Stairway
Animals - House of the Rising sun
Eagles - hotel california
Vocal Trance, trance, house and deep house
System of a down
Linkin Park
Creed

Thats about it!

As a musician (not just a guitar player, but a musician) I can't pass this up.

These are in no particular order, just writing them as I think of them

Covers:
Cold Shot as arranged by Stevie Ray Vaughan
If I Had Possesion Over Judgement Day as arranged by Eric Clapton
Effigy as arranged by Gov't Mule

Originals:
Planet Caravan - Black Sabbath
Just about anything by the Allman Brother's Band once Warren Haynes joined
Like a Stone - Audioslave
Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits
Couldn't Stand the Weather - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Circumstances - Rush
Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top
Old Friend - Allman Brother's Band
Behind Blue Eyes - The Who
Bold as Love - Jimi Hendrix

As for you people who say that Metal is for idiots, you're wrong. It's just that most idiots listen to it. Metallica is a good band like it or not, although just like any band they've had their flops.

Anyway blues rocks, and is the base for a greater part of western music thereby becoming one of the greatest musical forces in existence.

Ah, Axis-Bold As Love is a great album (and song). All the Hendrix albums are great, as a matter of fact. Wish You Were Here, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Dark Side of the Moon, and the Wall are the Floyd albums that I play the most. Zoso by Led Zep is also a great album.

I usually listen to Finntroll when playing ADOM.

Concerning other bands, here's a couple of my favorites:

Ill Nino - I am loco
Profane Omen - Are you a god?
Dope - I'm back
Machinae supremacy - The great Gianna sisters
Static X - New pain

Just to mention some...

And whoever says that metal is for idiots deserve tho be blasted in to oblivion with death ray!!! ;)

To get a good feeling of war and adventure in ADoM, I recommend :

Soundtrack for Panzerkreuzer Potekim.
Immortal, Darkthrone.
Conan the Babarian soundtrack.

Adventure-like music:
Alban Faust.
Anonymous Four.
Lord of the Rings soundtrack.

I think I can add one song to my favourite songs instead of just bands now.. :D

Immortal - In My Kingdom Cold

It is just... \,,/ Wonderful \,,/ !

The sound of their last album is awesome, the mix is very, very greatly done, almost perfect... Maybe lil harder snare would do great for drums. I just can't stop headbanging when I hear the double bass drums on the chorus \,,/
