How about showing the nr of threads instead of messages at the main overview or whatever one can call it. IMHO it is more interesting to know the nr of threads instead of total nr of messages in a section.

At the main-page there's a typo when you have logged in. Should be "logged" and not "loged".

I have to agree with Locke. Having the total number of messages doesn't have much use but the total number of threads is more interesting.

Jan Erik, when I log in it says:
"Welcome Damon, you have sucessfully logged in.
Welcome Damon! Come join the discussions in the ADOM forums."

Shouldn't it just say:
"Welcome Damon, you have sucessfully logged in.
Come join the discussions in the ADOM forums."

As saying welcome twice is a little over excessive.

testing 1..2..3...

Ok, seems to be working...

Use [b-<color>][/b-<color>] (in capital letters) where <color> can be any of the colors listed on the help page (I'll get it updated ASAP).

To tive something a black backgournd use [b-black][/b-black] for example (remember captal letters).

example: this text has a black background

Happy now :)

Me hunting a Swamp Hydra

I've done the background black, added a few swamps and also made it a bit bigger.

The edit notices are part of the message, so you can just scroll down and remove all the old ones. That way you will never have more than one edit notice (unless you want to :))

Anyway schouldn't it be like this (for ADOM):
......=
.=.."."
..=.=="
@=F."..
"==...=
.=...."
.".."..
Gee wiz! this is a lot of work!

Wish I could easily add a system where you could just put [DUNGEON][/DUNGEON] or [WILDERNESS][/WILDERNESS] and such around a screenshot and automaticaly have all the major map 'tiles' given the correct color... Hmm, I'll think about that one but don't hold your breath, it sounds like it would be an awfull lot of work on my part :p

Yeah, your right Jan. I'm now just figuring out why I thought the wilderness was the way I did it.
Your idea sounds good though, as the way it is now it is quite time consuming, but fun when you finally see what you've done - it's as if you've earned the picture!

Hey Jan heres a suggestion. How about the option of creating polls as well as the oridinary threads. I've seen it done of other forums and it makes voting for things a lot more easier and has a neat bar chart that shows the results everytime someone submits a vote.

I was planning to implement that originaly, but then it turned out it was a little bit more complex than I had first thought.

There already is an undoumented [poll][/poll] tag, but all it does it create the input field. The the behind-the-scenes workings that was a little tricky (how to handle multiple surveys, how to deal with survies if a user edits his message and so on). It would defenently be doable, I just didn't have time to get it in before I made the boards public. So the project has been put on ice for the time beeng.

[POLL]You are talking about something like this right?[/POLL]
This poll doesn't actualy work though (as mentioned before).
