im haveing a hard time useing some of the commands,like class power and command companion. why did TB make them so hard to do{pushing 3 keys} ive tryed alot but it just doesnt seem to work for those 2 in particuler and some of the other ones. and when u leave an area and a bat or sumthing or that ratling guy in the outlaw town follows you to the next area can u actually give them commands to help you.i know the sherrif will on his own. also when i play as a priest i see that alot of the food i pick up especially corpses are cursed.now when i play as any other character who doesnt have'detect item status'im afraid to eat any corpses.what would cursed food do to me anyway.thats all for now thx:) http://www.geocities.com/rogue_likes_arena/ |

Cursed food means just, that it's about to disappear. A corpse will constantly rot and then disappear. If you pick up a blessed corpse (not knowing it's status) and it will "rot" to normal, the game will tell you that it's {slightly rotten}, and a corpse that turned to cursed will have {rotten} Cursed/rotten is just less satiating (that's how you spell it?), about 50% of normal, and blessed is 125% of normal. A cursed corpse of something bad (like kobolds, who make you "sick") will hurt you more, but even a blessed kobold will make you ill. Some corpses grant instrincts (spiders poison you, but also give poison restistance - the poison may kill very weak chars, but most survive and then recover from poison in a matter of 3-6 turns) some kill you (at least one - most likly you will die if you see a dark green "F", so don't worry about it ;P ), some make you stong, some make you weak and ugly. Test it, or check the guide book for info on corpse effect. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |
