What should I do in the start? Should I train my char or start to do the quests right away? I usually train my char to about lvl. 10 and then start to do some quests. When should I go to coc? |

You can go to the coc straight away if you want to... The beginning quests aren't necessary they are there just for the heck of it :) I usually start by doing the elder quest(if going for the druid quest you might not want to go toe to toe with keethrax as your first thing in the drakalor chain) and after that the puppy quest and after that I dive the UD(it might be a good idea to pop in and pop out in SMC the first thing you do to generate the level and monsters when your still at level one). Then if I'm 13 I do the pyramid, otherwise hang out in the ID, do the pyramid and then begin descending CoC. If you start with a spellcaster you migth want to scum ID for a few spells first. Also if you're a weak char such as a thief or farmer. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. My strategy for spellcasters is to head right to the outlaw town, kill all the baddies, gain some levels, then kill hotzenplotz, the thief master guy and some other important eeeviil people.Oh,and don't kill Shriek.HE IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT.Once you killed the crime master, talk to Twayt Pare in Terinyo and he'll give you the amulet of order!! YAY!!!1111 Boredom ceases bladder. |

Shriek's keys are too expensive for my taste :/ I usually waste him. Oh and if you'd like to spare him you might want to lure him with you to terinyo. Also if you'd like to be able to train some useful skills such as detect traps and climbing(want to be able to go to the library with a wizard?) you better not kill the master thief. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Well, you can always wish for climbing or you might find a potion of education or training? to get the skill... And some races have the skill. - May the blood of thine enemies stain the ground - |

All races have the skill but it's quite a big of a waste to increase it if it's modifier drops to 1. Unless you hack yourself a WoWi (2000000000 charges) I think it would be a total waste to wish for skills you can train by just leaving someone alive and not killing him. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Well, sometimes wishing for courage is good, if your first kill was something you encounter only once (mad doctor etc...) and you plan to do it easy with the quickling bard... - May the blood of thine enemies stain the ground - |

So your quota of 20 muggers will generate without your having to kill beggars and drop alignment. Die Gedanken sind Frei |
