I'd also like to know. What exactly does the term mean? I'm not native english speaker and it's not in my dictionary.

Turn Undead means "use your piety to sacre off the weaker undead".


A pessimist sees a dark tunnel.
An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel.
A realist sees a train.
And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks.

If I should hasard a guess I would say it's called "turning" because it makes undead flee from you...

Although a high level priest can also outright destroy lesser undead withing his LOS with the turning ability (nice way to clean up after a over-zelous necromancer for example).
