Whenever I go into the dwarven caverns in the CoC the shopkeeper yells, "stop driving away me costomers!" and attacks me. Of course I'm no match for the shopkeeper so i either run away or, if i have a wand of teleportation, teleport away. Any idea why this happens? (: |

Thats such an annoying corruption. I think its my most hated one. If you get rid of it, do the shopkeepers you pissed off become non-hostile again?

Poison Hands is even more uncool, especially because thick gauntlets are unimaginably rare, and they burn away in the ToEF, where you can usually win great strength eating fire giant corpses (wonderful strengrh boost), but not when they're auto-cursed. Mana battery is annoying too, but I don't rely much on wands, so it doesn't bother me as much. Move the cursor to the desired position and press [SPACE] when done. Impossible. Suddenly you stand elsewhere. You see an ancient altar of black obsidian. The goblin rockthrower suddenly shouts a prayer to his gods! You are consumed by a roaring column of flame! |

Arancaytar, chaos knights often seem to have thick gauntlets, and a ring of ice will help keep them safe in the ToEF. |
