I have a level 17 human fighter and doing really well so far. The only problem is I can't find any good weapons. Right now I am using the Golden Gladius. I don't really like two handed or cursed weapons for obvious reasons (like the Scythe of Corruption "Moon Sickle") and can't find any other weapons that are good. Any one know of any good place to find weapons or any good quests to get good weapons? Thanks. (: |

Orc scorchers and hill orcs throw orcish spears at you, so every time you meet one lead 'em around untill they throw one at you. With luck it'll have a good pre/suffix. Same goes for (large)gnolls who throw battle axes at you. You can scum gnoll warbands at the road next to the pyramíd. Other than that, five very very very good artifact weapons are guaranteed, but they're probably not for your level yet :) Meaning of course the axe of the minotaur emperor, needle&sting, rune-covered trident and trident of the red rooster. If you're really buff you could try the darkforge, I usually get a good weapon or two out of there. Some people even get artifacts from there but I've only seen an artifact there once(shirt of the saints). If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Do you know about identifying items by weight? For example, a mace (120s) will always be a mace of destruction, which is a very nice weapon. A sword (35s) is a sword of sharpness - also nice, but a bit more fragile because it's made of iron. As well as those special cases, weapons which are lighter than normal will typically be made of the higher metals and therefore better. |
