I've done the closest thing to banning him the current code allow...

There are quite a few loopholes though, and aside from creating a new acount I know of a couple of ways he can still have access to his old acount even though I changed his password :-/

Have to work a bit on the code to improve security around here I guess (getting a real ban function for example).

In the meantime just ignore him if the (or anyone like him) pops up again. I'll try to check in a bit more often and maybe even deputice a couple of mods to help keep spammers and trolls under controll...

Could you ban him by IP address? That's how persistent troublemakers are sometimes dealt with on Wikipedia, and it would keep him from creating a new account or logging in anonymously. It doesn't work very well with dynamic IP addresses, though.
