THose shops were in the game from the creation of figurines... don't why it would be weird.

A shop in PC 2 is quite lucky though... that early in the game.

Better sacrifice the figurines, though, not the summoned monsters (gods don't like summoned stuff).

n/m i was gonna sell the figurines for gold, cause in the shop they were about 5000 gold each, but i went to two other shops and they would only sell it for about 500 :(

I didnt think there would be a shop with all figurines in it. thats why i though it was weird. oh, well.

I've found Griffons, ratling warriors, duelers and even one warlord. Latly also one Ogre, a dark sage and a kobold shaman (not much use, but he can leave a corpse ;) ). I wonder if anyone has ever found a high-level monster figurine, like Greater Demon, elementals, grues or chaos knights?

I had a figurine shop generate in DH:1 once... dunno if it was a coincidence, but the shop had an acid vortex and fire vortex figurine in it!

(This is the same game that I duplicated vortex figurines and used them to kill Andy... :P)

Heh. I haven't seen many shops anywhere except for guarenteed places.

(blessed)white wyrm
blue wyrm
(cursed)cave tiger
quickling queen
chaos rat, and all of them were in the same shop!

Lucky bastard!

It would be a great idea if wishing for a shopkeeper on a level that doesn't have one causes a room to be cleared out and a shopkeeper put in there. RFE idea?

I remember reading a RFE like that once. It was a long time ago, before 1.0
It unbalances the game - you can wish for one type of item, but a "shop" wish, can get you a lot more, and maybe an artefact; book shops seem to have the black tome very often, and I've found more artefacts in shops, then I've gotten from surges of power.

(Kabold)Shaman Corpses give you add +1 to your mana (I think) but make you SICK.

Yea, that's easy Mana. The sickness can be cured with herbs, potions, spells, class abilities etc.
And more Mana is always usefull (writing scrolls for instance).

Hmm, the best figurine I've ever had was a berserker lord. He died after a couple of turns.
Now, Scrolls of familiar summoning are alot more fun. My last high-lvl char (trollish barbarian) cleared out a greater undead vault (8 emperor liches) with just two SoFS'. Got a greater titan and an emperor lich. If they can't kill anything, nothing can (especially when extremely experienced). :)

I got 2 SoFS once, made a Greater Fire Elemental, went to get ring of High Kings with him, got down, told him to wait by the water, was freezing the water and accidently zapped him with Frost Bolt, he died.

From the second scroll I got a writhing mass of primal chaos, it was pretty useful because of the slowing attacks, but I accidently made it hostile with my Acid Ball. Had to kill it.

But those scrolls are great.
