*sigh* I have to repost this it seems. So here we go again. Creator's day, July 2nd. Result: Pc starts out with luck and fate smiles. Also, if this date falls on a Monday, no HP drop will occur. Christmas Eve, Dec 24th. Result: PC starts out with Fate smiles. New Year's Eve, Dec 31th. Result: Pc starts out with 6 blessed potions of booze. Any Firday 13th. Result: Pc starts out with curse Any Monday. Result: PC starts out with some lost HP. There's also a special message for each of these dates. Perhaps I should have been more clear. What I was saying was: I am The True One. And actually, no you do not have very good reasons to hate the guidebook. Give me one *good* reason. Sorry, You'll fail, since there's *never* a good reason to hate something. And regarding plain and normal. First of all, what's wrong with plain? Einstein once said something similiar to this: "Things should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." So why complicate things? Any reasons? :) And one last thing: There are no slaves of Valar. The only slave I know of is a Valar himself, and he is a slave to his own greed and envy. His name was once Morgoth... Locke Cole |

Why is the reason "all who hate" stupid? Have you not heard what Yoda says? "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering." You guys are in the forum for the wrong roguelike game. You want Angband. Personally, I hate Blue M&M's, and feel very justified in so doing. BTW, Yoda and the light side are not all that good. The Light Side suppresses Love, as well as Hatred, Joy as well as Despair, Compassion as well as Anger. |

I am not sure what Angband has to do with this. Personally, I don't like Angband at all. Ok so do you *really* *hate* blue M&M? 'hate' is a VERY strong word... Perhaps this thing is being discussed (sp?) in it's own thread by the time I am back. :) Does the light side suppress love? Hmm, that was a new one for me. Re: Angband -- Stas was making references to Tolkien, upon which Angband characters are based (as is Moria) Re: Blue M&Ms -- Blue is an unnatural color to associate with chocolate. Even worse, tan M&M's were the victims of Emocide, in order to make room for the Blues. Lastly, blues are trying to usurp the position of "Special" M&M, which is rightfully held by the greens! They're EVIL, I tell you. I hate 'em! Re: Light side: Yoda wasn't feeling joy. Putting on an acted, he was. Testing the young Skywalker was his intent. Taking no joy from it, was he. Also, the only Jedi we know of that had a wife was Anakin, and he gave into the Dark Side. Besides, you don't need to be in love in order to have children.
