What does praying with holy symbols accomplish? I was just playing a Drakeling Paladin. ( Didn't do too well, scored -8681 points!) I think I made my god angry when I kicked down an altar, all my equipment turned to dust! How do you tell if an altar belongs to your god? An altar belongs to your god if it matches your alignment (black for chaotic, gray for neutral, white for lawful). Yes, kicking down an altar makes your god angry... Praying with holy symbols gives you an indication of the attitude your god has towards you. If you "feel uncomfortable", or worse, your god may have an unpleasant surprise for you when you sacrifice something, and won't answer any prayers. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

You can turn undead if you're in good standings with your god by using the holy symbol. Helps being a priest but everybody can do it. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. LOL! J. means that regular D&D etc. term "Turn undead". Scare off undeads, maybe even damage 'em. This reminds me of Quake 1, when fighting zombies and dying.. "Ass Whisper joins the zombies"... :P Icesus |

I was wondering what that meant. I was trying a human priest (which i had chosen randomly) and got that at level 5. I'll have to use that now. (: |
