This was taken off the rec.blah.blah.adom group, so I claim *NO* responsibility for what happens and I didn't make this. It works on the ADOM-Sage edition, which is nice. Also with DOS. I tested it, and savegames made before editing work. (By Alexey Dobriyan). Hi, all! Once the group gave the effective green light to announcing binary patches, here we go! :) As known, it is still possible to crash ADOM 1.1.1 by selecting any of 'Skilled', 'Very Skilled' and 'Extremely Skilled' talents, despite Thomas claims 'Skilled' bug was fixed. Crash is also possible after selecting 'Skilled' and then other non-'Skilled' talent. Following the instructions below you'll get modified ADOM binary which do not suffer from this crash. *** BIG FAT NOTE *** -------------------------------------------------------- 1. Neither I nor Thomas is responsible for the possible damage caused to your computer by running modified ADOM. Blame yourself if it happens. 2. I am NOT challenging ADOM copyright. 3. Please, do NOT distribute ADOM in a modified way. 4. I don't think it'll get through to him, to tell you the truth. He might not even approve of it. Also, you _can't_ post modified binaries of ADOM. That's why ADOM-CRC crack was a seperate program, not just a cracked ADOM.exe. Sorry. The people at Cheatinginadom will provide the instructions, but little more than that. You got to hack in binary yourself. Sorry. |

Ah, screw it. I'll upload a heavily zipped Adom-sage file. Just put it where you put adom-sage. I'll do the DOS one in a couple minutes. Trouble is, I don't have a place to store it. :/. |
