Attack them with missiles and spells, and get yourself an amulet of free action. That gives paralyzation resistance. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. I say hit her (only dark elven females get to be priests) really hard or have a good amount of DV. Ofcourse if you're not a fighter-type do what J. says. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

They often shrug off bolt spells, too. I like Burning Hands, or multiple castings of bolt spells (they'll hit eventually), for that purpose. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

Thanks for all answers. But I was high elven ranger, level 12 and knew no spells yet... Of course I used missiles. I know about amulet of free action but its quite rare thing... BTW I went "coward" when she got close to me and I hoped it would help and I continued shooting... I think that next time I am gonna rather run away. |

Yup. Back off every time she gets close to you, shoot at her when she's a space or more away. Just use your basic strategy for dealing with annoying monsters with tough close-range attacks... you should be fine. BTW, got any wands? Might try those for spells. Die Gedanken sind Frei |
