I canŽt get across a level before animated forest level. There was a vault full of jellys of all kinds and gellatinous cubes. I had some 150 arrows but now they are all in the vault and the jellys keep reproducing ... I think IŽll go for a spellbook of Burning hands which I left at a small clearing... But I am not sure if it is the best solution at this point... Whad do you think of it? WonŽt they fill the level until I get back? |

No, the level is frozen while you are not on it. I heard this idea of TB changing it, but nothing has happened yet. ChAoS iS cOmInG! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! |

You'll want to get a wand of door creation, clear out the jellies, and use the doors from the wand to separate them so they're more manageable. You needn't exterminate them--just make yourself a path to the stairs. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

Stone weapons(clubs, spears, axes) don't corrode when attacking gray/ochre oozes so if you have any, use them. Bolt spells would be the best solution, just line them up and kill several jellies with one blast. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. how close are you to your diety?if you have a couple of prayers in reserve (ie you're not gonna get punished puny mortal) , have full hit points/ power points/ are not hungry.praying will stop reproduction and you can make a path to the stairs.like someone said, you dont need to kill them all, just get to the stairs. |

If it's bad enough, you can't... the jellies will have filled everything up so you can't go around and you can't teleport because you'll land on one of them. Controlled teleport helps, though; just clear out the area next to each staircase, surround it with doors, and teleport past them--the same strategy I use for the Forest, incidentally.
