...argh, ran out of space. You know what i'm saying. Anyway.

Could you please take a look at the thread "Thread page numbers"? methinks i used too non-attention-drawing of a title for it, hence you didn't see it...

Yeah I have seen that thread.

Oh, that was not what you where asking, right :P

Actualy that's been on my to-do list (along with implementing the search feature) for quite a while... Guess that's no big help though...

You are right though, it would defenently help. I'll see if I can find another one of those boost willpower potions so I can summon enough focus to sit down and just do it... I never sease to amaze myself at how much time I can waste doing absolutely noting worthwhile, while stuff like this always gets put off untill "tomorow"...

So I'll see about it tomorow then, no seriously I mean it this time... Unless someting distract me again :P

Oh well I got a "burst" of inspiration, so I just put it in right away. Just cut & pasted the cude from the message listing page put it in a seperate function, tweaked 2 lines of code and wolla...

The code is getting messier and messier, but at least it works :P

Looks a bit cluttered though, if anyone have any ideas for how to better present the page count in a better way let me know.

Like this you mean?

I'm just a bit worried people with high resolutions will have a hard time hitting the right number when they are that small...

Will give it a try though.

I like it. I think it looks just fine.
i've seen other forums put the thread page numbers like this:
Title (Page 1 2 3 3 4 5...)
or
Title (Page 1 2 3 ... Last)
either of these would work, and the second would be smaller and would work just fine. After all, usually it's the last page i want.

Three cheers for Jan!
Hip hip... HOORAY!
Hip hip... HOORAY!
Hip hip... HOORAY!
Hip hip... HOORAY!
Oops... I either can't count or got carried away.

For those with high resolutions, how about putting a bit more space between the numbers?

I don't think that we need a link to the last page, since threads don't usually get very long. Or do they?

Yeah Jan, I used to do a bit of Qbasic and those bursts of inspirations are amazing, aren't they?

Potions of willpower? Mine are all cursed, which is probably why I never leave things for tomorrow, but for the day after :D

a lot of them don't go beyond 2 pages, but if you look in teh stories forum... a lot of those have upwards of 5 pages. the main commentary thread has 9.

Hum hum, decided to bump up some thread concerning the forums. Anyone else have experience of the visitor counter getting a bit messed up? I see Duke's last view of a page was 522 minutes ago. :)
If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.

LOL! Yeah, it does do that occasinally, I've noticed. More than once I've come on here with about 15 or 16 lurkers having been on in the last 20 minutes...
