Bad question to ask here, Rhin Chin ;) Good game play is WAY more important than graphics. My computer is really old (60MB ram, 2GB hard drive, 160mHz processor) so I look for small games (usually with bad graphics). ADOM was a godsend :p There's this online game called Earth2025, at games.swirve.com/earth. It's a text based strategy game. I'm sort of addicted to it right now. Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! Something on the ground is smashed to pieces! PeanutGod: Awwww no! How harsh is that! This is where you need the artefact 'mop and bucket'. |

Yeah, I'm always playing either ASCII-graphic games, or text-based. For a while I was really into Medievia and Achaea... great online multiplayer text-based games. |

Average in both IMO. Gameplay is very important, but graphics do add to the experience as well. ivan.sourceforge.net |

Gameplay is more important than graphics. You cannot play a game with horrible gameplay and beautiful graphics. Good graphics are important, though, and always add to the game's atmosphere immensly. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Spiderweb software? Isn't that the team who made the Exile series and some other stuff? Great games, IMO. Speaking of teams, no more RPG's from Interplay, Black Isle is no more :/ No more Fallouts or Baldurs Gates for us. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Change that to Baka,if you may? :) I just downloaded this game(90 megs!@#$&!),and it had excellent graphics.But the game was slow,irritating,and rather pointless. I hate it when I waste my time on games like these.And so to say,I'd rather play a game with terrible graphics but excellent gameplay,than a game with excellent graphics but terrible gameplay.They offer more flavour. :) Fear me not,I'll go nice on you....For now. |

dont worry about your sister, anarchy2. my sister calls adom "that cheap game". eg: "oh, you're playing that cheap game again?" but then my cousins really loved the game (though their english stink... i had to translate everything for them when they were visiting). |

gameplay over graphics. I got a few games with my geforce 4, one of them aquanox. the playing situation was all right, the graphix were nice, and the gameplay wasn't that bad either, kinda like good old descent. but the part between missions was hell, the voice actors, their portraits, all.. yugh. and you had to had these stupid conversations that had no point at all. exile, aethra, incubation... little but nice games. Even my dad despises me for playing ADOM... :P But I'm in no mood to go and buy some decent games,since ADOM is free,and much more fun! Though I really wanted to play Neverwinter Nights...I never managed to play the game,since my computer is too damn old. Fear me not,I'll go nice on you....For now. |
