Fanatic of ADOM online... Im not a programmer,but..... What do U think about ADOM conversion for palmtops? Imagine that possibility:take ADOM with you anywhere... there are few roguelikes on palms like moria port and rogue port,BUT ADOM port doesnt exist.... i believe that IS portable...same processor like amiga..almost.. If u are interested idea,tell it here,we`ll think.... dont tell me about lack of keyboard....solution for this is easy... |

Dunno who easy it would be. I mean ADOM can in theory be ported to any system that has a C compilator, but I'd imagine the IO system would require quite a bit of re-writing in order to work on a palmtop, and doesn't a lot of them have completely different OS'es... Maybe the Windows version could be made to run on a Windows CE based palm though without too much hassle... I'm afraid I'm not realy into those things though. Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

um,but 4 example there is port of earlier adom on amiga based processors,my plam have motorola 68xxx processor with some differencies.....interphace was made in kmoria,works GOOD,irogue,similar interphace to previous,works ok.ADOM is far more complicated than kmoria,but...I WANT TO BELIEVE.My mail to Thomas remains unanswered...(its normal...site wasnt updated by Thomas ......long time..). |
