You know that message "the walls of this room seem to be made of pure obsidian"? (or something like that). I tried mining the walls, and I got a LOT more gems than usual. Around two thirds of teh wall gave me gems. Dont know if that's what the message mean (I might've just been lucky) and if it only works on the first 'layer' of wall.

Also, are there any uses for ores? Is there a way of changing them into ingots?

Oh, ok. Never played with a weaponsmith or orc before. And my dwarven paladin died very early.
