Yeah, I noticed the same as Jonesy. The altar is displayed red and the game crashes giving a reason of altar not being on the level. |

To Warlord, about "wrong disk blaah blaah" bug: How do you expect me to fix it if you're giving me that little info? And what do you mean that it "points" to your D drive? About altar bug: "It's not a bug, it's a feature." >:] The altar alignment is defined in the level data structure. There isn't a way to edit one yet, so placing an altar on a level that doesn't have one means putting an un-aligned altar. I'll add some support to that in future versions, thx for reminding me. |

Cyper Shadow: My computer is 150mhz(dont laugh,plz) win95(:P)voodo 3 2000(16mg) and 32ram The error happens when i load it, it says something that free more memory and not enough memory. Cyb, ok, what do you need to know? I ain't a mindreader, so instead of getting every bit of data about my comp, could you specify what you need? About pointing to D, well, this is a translation, maybe bad one since I don't use English version of Xp. So a window pops up and says Adombot can't locate something, and gives options to retry, abandon and error (fail?). Dunno if they are named like that in english version. Anyway, the box also seems to be searching the thing it wants from my D drive which is my cd rom. I can't even imagine what Adombot would search from there... OK, I reinstalled Adombot, and now, it seems to work again, except that none of the buttons have visible text on them. So the lock on button is just a red button. ----- |

@: Hmmm, let's see... ADOM eats up 3.2 MB of RAM, SaveMan - 800kb, AdomBot - 4.4 Mb by itself, then 300kb more when locking, 2.2 Mb when loading ScumB@t, and 3 more MB when you load Denis' sound pack. No wonder. WarLord: Let's see... what language version of XP do you have? I haven't coded in anything to open something from drive D, so the bug is not directly in my code, but could be caused by my code, or could be caused by the environment AdomBot was running. If you can remember what did AdomBot request... And what did you do right before that? Did you modify any files? Those missing inscriptions are really puzzling me. If you have font smoothing (ClearType, etc) turn it off and tell me if the problem's gone. I used a method of drawing buttons in earlier versions of AdomBot that didn't work well if any kind of font smoothing was enabled. What version of AdomBot were you running? Maybe it's not the last one... The last one's v3.11. |

3.11 Using Finnish language Xp. I recall just locking on to Adom and then I think I tried to mod inventory. Can't remember what Abot requested, but it pointed to D as said before and the box kept appearing as long as Abot was on. You know, those annoying windows error boxes that sometimes appear, no matter how many times you close it, it pops up again. Well, anyway, now it hasn't done that on a few times I've used Abot. And the text disappearing was because I had 16 bit colors on. Changing back to 32 bit brought the texts back to buttons. Done that. AdomBot v3.12 is almost finished. Gotta add the manual bug report, update the docs and the site. If you'd like something added, now's the time to say it, cause I'm gonna start work on v3.20, and that can take long. |

Options for editing the skills and spells other than making them 100% would be nice. That's all I can think of right now. Ok, skills I understand, needed for research. But why spells? If you have or don't have a certain spell has no effect on the gameplay. Not having a spell is the same as having it, but not using it. |

AdomBot v3.12 is out! This release should finish all the gaps and holes from AdomBot v3.11. I've fixed all reported bugs and finished all "unfinished" features. What's new: - You can now lock on AdomSage when it's launched from a batch file. - Map editor has been significantly improved, and you can now load custom cheat lists (GenTrain and ArtMoney formats supported). - The scripts now have support for external subs, so now you can integrate AdomBot with your DLLs. - You can submit a bug report straight from AdomBot. - I've added a few more surprises for you. Check them out! http://www.geocities.com/adombot/ P.S. I've spotted a problem: Sometimes, when AdomBot locks on AdomSage under Win9x/ME systems, the display memory is garbled. You won't be able to run bots and record demos but all the other features should work. |

Whoa! ill get a new comp after few days! Heres how good it is: 2000 Mhz(2ghz) 128 Mb GeForce Video card 245k/s internet Connection Win Xp + Linux Dvd Drive 512 Mb Ram(Memory) 80G Hard Drive(8000mb) And it costs only 580euros! lol, i dont need new screen, mouse&keyboard or printer^^ U think that machine will run it?:D <xxxxo~~~~oxxxx> SWORDCHUK |

@: My PC is way older than your new one. I can't see a reason it won't run, unless you'll try to run it under Linux. >:] I've found a method to fix the problem with the video memory with AdomSage. However, this problem occured to me only once. If someone else will experience the same problem, I'll release v3.12b or something... |

The new version is very nice indeed. :-) I got my comp for around $800 USD. Shoulda spent the extra $50 and gotten the Radeon 9800 128mb, but I didn't know about that deal. :-(. This version kicks ass! Although making a shop doesn't really work (ie, making a room a shop and using a figurine to generate a shopkeeper.) It would be great if it worked, but it doesn't. :-/. I found another funny thing. Using the Map Editor's teleport player function to teleport onto a monster causes it to attack itself, but you're still able to attack it by pressing . Quite funny. It will, as soon as I finish the plug in architecture, write a tile-based graphic plugin and somebody draws decent tiles. BTW, would you mind putting a smaller image in your signature?
