Help... I am playing a female troll-fighter and the PC is on level 8. She has got invisibility intrinsic(good!) and hence that damned arena master wont allow her inside(?). what shall i do..? any useful artifact available( may be not). dont recommend potion of visibility. u need severel of them to fight the whole battle. help |

AFAIK, there's no wearable item that grants visibility. Potions of visibility make you visible for a time. I'd say you need to drink from pools again, and hope that it'll go away. BTW, can you wish for intrinsics/wish for them to go away? If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. No, but you just need one Potion for each battle. Always. Why? Drink a potion, talk to the arena master. You need visibility only when you talk to him - otherwise the the Ogre Magus champion would not be allowed to fight ;P A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

yes M. that was just exactly what i meant. to fight the severel odd rounds.....? def. u need more than one potion, because it wears out..and i was told there was more than 20 round to become the champion... i am really a newbie..no? ;) Who said nothing is impossible? I have done nothing all my life. |

That's what I thought, no wishing for intrinsics. Next time don't do heavy drinking from pools until after the dwarven quests. >) If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. You need exactly 20 rounds to become a champion, but the first couple of rounds are rats, goblins and such - the medicore hard stuff like tarantulas, ankhregs and ogres can appear in 8 last rounds. Then it's 2 fights with a cave bear (or somthing equal), and the last fight - the champion (either an annoying, yet hard without cold resistance/immunity, ogre magus, or a medium-hard minotaur, or a hard troll, or a hard-hard hill giant). A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |
