Can you wish for suffixed and/or prefixxed items, like, say, a poisonous Eternium Two Handed Sword Of penetration (my current weapon)? I would like to know, becuase I have a wand of wishing with 4 charges and I am thinking of saving it so if somthing happens to my sword, I can wish for another one?

No, you can't. You can wish for "Eterinium Two Handed Swords" and hope that you'll get 1 or 2 with a prefix... or a suffix... and then hope that you'll get the "of penetration" and not "of dooming" - it's random.

But remember that you can wish for some very nice weapons...Sword of Shapness, Phase Dagger, Whip of Snake (IIRC, but not sure)...

You should Wish for a Spellbook of Create Item/Divine Favour(Wish)cos than you can cast it staraight form the book once you have mastered it(Have a literacy skill lv of 100 it helps).

.Once you have that wish for non artifactual items such as Seven League Boots or Potions of Ultra Healing or Holy Water or Scrolls of Chaos Resistance or Potions of Cure Corruption or Scrolls of Monster Aggrivation(Useful if you want to become a Lawful Champion) well that's it I think.

You can't wish for Spellbooks of Wish. The Create Item spell creates a totally random (non-artifact) item.

Wish for Scrolls of Chaos Resistance, they are better than the potions of Cure Corruption.
Always bless them too.

Learning to cast wish is hard, takes a hell of a lot sp. Besides, casting it from knowledge has a downside too. I'd rather stick with wands and RoDS.

Well, it lowers a stat by 10?...not worth it IMO, unless in a dire need of SoCR.

Hey,I'm talking here!
'Wish' is not worth it?Come on,you could wish those stats back! But the amount of PP used is hell.

You couldn't gain those stats back by wishing, the penalty is too severe.

Create item isn't too bad of a spell. If you cast it in SMC or DH or other dangerous places you might get something good. That, and bookcasting it takes 750 pp, that's GOOD training for your mana.

Good wishes, IMO are (pairs of)7lb, GoGS, dragon scale mails, eternium tower shields, and other sorts of good equipment. If you're going for an ultra ending, save a couple of wishes for speed when going to fight Andy.
If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.

I might remember incorrectly, but in adom 0.9something I tried wishing for blessed rings of djinni summoning from a pool. either it worked or i just remember it did. it might be that I remember the time i actually found one of those and used it and tried to wish for it -for vain. not sure...

And my point was...

Wishing for a ring of Djinni summmoning gives you one that has already been used (that is a brass ring).

Some skills are good to get via wish if race+class don't have it and you know you can't learn it from anywhere (except potions of training and education), like food preservation.

Just about the only thing I use wishes for any more are skills I don't have. Eternium weapons / armour are near common in the latest version anyway (chaos knights, anyone?)

Wishing for scrolls of chaos resistance is a good idea too, as you said :)

You pick up the Blessed Amulet of Life Saving. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, slowly turns toward you.

It's pretty cool to wish for Necromancy, no matter what class you are.

Rethinking that - I just found that you can't control your slaves, unless you're a Necromancer. You can still create them, and they'll still wander after you and kill stuff, though.
