I got a dark elven wizard with magic missile. teleportation and cure criticl wounds. When I was lv 4 I put on my ring of the fish and found the cave. I teleported randomly until I found the mother. Then I cast a few cure critical wounds ant teleported randomly until i got near the exit and got out. Easy, but a turtle or eel almost ate me. For the Horde! |

If you had had darkness as well, and perhaps a more powerful attack spell, I wonder whether you could have killed the mother dragon and taken her entire treasure hoard. |

Quite an archievement that would be! That would prolly give 20 levels in a row! But it's almost lunacy to try, or does the darkness disable her water-breathing as well? Haven't tried that for a long time.. Maybe I should try to go for it.. :P Icesus |

She would've probably fled at some point. That's what she usually does for my chars who don't overpower her clearly. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
