yeah. can the same artifact be generated several times in the game? (aside from the si, of course) Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! No. You can make multiple copies of artifacts with a hex editor the same way you change the number of items in any heap of items. Chris, you could have said which version you are playing. In 1.1.1 swapping temp files doesn't work, so if somebody would want an artifact from you they'd have to first send you their own game's adtl05_1, into which you'd have to copy paste the 10 lines of hex the artifact takes from your game. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. I play version 1.0.0 and I just copy the temp files to copy items and artifacts even if i wanted to use a hex editor i don't know how to use one. So to get the Ring of the master Cat or unidentified the Cats Eye ring I just didn't kill any cats and the Amulet of life saving I found in the casino. "Such is life" - Ned Kelly |

getting one item will show you that you'll die no matter what "uberitem" you have. getting all the items you want will show you just how boring the game can be, in less than 10 min. it's a bit of a novelty to start the game with all eternium stuff, and the ToTRR of course, but it doesn't last long. |

if you cant get enough help from the guidebook and the 20-odd pages of information here, you shouldnt be playing this game... saving a file to test or learn is one thing, but file swaping to get stuff is too much, what are you gonna buy a pimped char on e-bay next? screw that IMHO crap,my opinion is, go buy a playstation and get you instant gratification that way. |
