I just read that there is just a random chance to die every turn your PC is starving, so it might just be possible to win the game starving from the beginning. Of course this is quite impossible but it would be possible with really insane luck. is it a random chance? gee, i never knew that, i thought that after you starved for a while you died. how challenging would it be to complete the game in the very hungry state? you'd be allowed to eat only when you get to starving. Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! Something on the ground is smashed to pieces! PeanutGod: Awwww no! How harsh is that! This is where you need the artefact 'mop and bucket'. |

The problem is that it makes that random test EVERY TURN you are starving. Its also possible that the moon might spin off its orbit and destroy North Korea. That doesn't mean you should cross your fingers. Lets say you have a 100,000 turn game, and that chance is 10% each turn. The chances of you making it through is around about a decimal point, followed by one hundred thousand zeros, then a little 1 at the end, percentage sign. You pick up the Blessed Amulet of Life Saving. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, slowly turns toward you. "That will cost you.. ..your soul" |

What do you mean? IMO, his post was very clear, better than the majority of my posts. I'm all with LarrackG on this one. If you find yourself trying to finish this challenge, please, get yourself a life. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. There is also a small chance that all the molecules in the room i';m currently sitting in will all go into 1 little corner. And then i would explode because of the low pressure surrounding me. This chance is very little, though. (i reckon it was calculated at a number with 10^26 zero's before the first digit). I think this challenge has about the same chance. Actually I got it wrong ;) But I was just doing it off the top of my head. The real value isn't nearly so low. Its just somewhere in the region of 'not happening in a million years' |
