This is a great one! Its a graphical roguelikish RPG taking place in the far North ages ago. URW is actually very realistic game. Once greating your char(just humans chars in this game) you enter the huge wildness with lots of caves, lakes,and few villages. The skill system is nice;you got about 20 skills , for example fishing, hideworking, woodcarving, and weaponskills. There are no levels or tasks in URW , you can do what ever you like. You can bacome a warrior and slave the evil warriors coming for far east or you can be a hunter and track down deers and bears or beavers. You can even build a house and get a beatifull wife. :D If you like ADOM , i am sure you like Unreal world also.Its shareware , but very cheap one. try it and tell what you like. http://www.jmp.fi/~smaarane/urw.html |

Yeah,I love URW too!If it were free,I would have enjoyed it more.But URW is a decent game,indeed. Fear me not,I'll go nice on you....For now. |

btw. URW doesnt work in winXP, thats why i dont play it too much these days... =/ |

Oh you mean that finnish game... I have tried it twice, though every time had problems with keys I think, I couldn`t find out how to use different skills, and there was no help available either. But I think, I`m gonna download it again. |

Oh yeah, the keys were no problem, but my keyboard is a problem. The game uses older or west version of keyboard while I am using a scandinavian, no estonian version of keyboard. Most games (including) ADOM has no problem when playing with my keyboard, but others do... Are there any other versions available ? |
