medieval fantasy you say? Oh, oh I've got somthing! How about... Medieval Fantasy! It's not taken, it's streight to the point and... yeah it sucks :P It would help if you'd specify the times. If it's more "dark ages", then somthing like "Times of Scorn" or "Bad Moon" would be nice. If it's more of heroic fantasy, then somthing like... I don't have any idea right now, but I'll think of something. P.S. I've got it! Medieval Fantasy Roguelike! MFR for short! It...Yeah it sucks even more :P A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. Chaos Eternal. A name of an old Jedi Knight Multi-Player Level. The level was quite good, actually. Not that it matters. Stealing from Feist, here's a few names: Chaos Wars, Days of the Mad Gods Rage, and The Time of the Star Death. All involving the war between deities of the books. If not any of those, I suggest you find something sufficiently dark Armageddon-like sounding. Or, stealing from the song, you can make it The Roguelike With No Name. Well, I have been in the process of moving. My last message I wrote from the hotel from the "INTERNET ON TV" *GASP*. Anyway it took quite some time to type just that up. I'm home now. I like the name Remnant. Its a toss up between the name of my old RPG I got rid of called Dungeon Bane. But if Remnant isn't already taken I think I will go with that. As for when it will come out, The Alpha test will be out quite soon. as soon as i perfect the drop system, and make a monster or two... As for beta testers... It is in BYOND code, meaning anyone can play it. I could ban the hell outta people who arent beta testers so that we could just have a choice few, or I could just try to create code that will let me admit a few people. But for now I appreciate all your suggestions... Anyway I just checked and Remnant is the name I'm going with. Thank you all again. One other thing... Its playable in both ASCII and graphical modes which makes it appealing to everyone. If you want to check out progress, I will keep posting here, or you can check The BYOND Hub. <a href=http://games.byond.com/hub/Tharamn/Remnant>Remnant Hub</a> I will also be introducing a website with a good forum in the future, but for now Thats it.
