Hengband, u havent heard of it? me neither. But one day, i was at thangodrim, looking for variants coz original Angband is kinda boring. Then i looked "Hengbabd" dl it immidiadly after seeing how many changes it has to the original! It has got many more classes/races than adom, personalaties, but not as many skills, but it got MANY quests MANY towns&dungeons, and graphicks! It can run sounds too, and u can enter all commands from enter-menu, good for first timers! MANY buildings, casinos(they have reall games,like poker) arenas, hunters offise, taverns(rumours,quests), town hall(quests) but tthere arent as many monsters or items than in adom, but all classes/races have special skills, example draconians can breathe fire. THey bot are wery good, i think Hengband is a little bit better coz its huge world and class/race collection. But ofcourse i like adom still, hengband is just nice changing to adom. Hengband is WAY too easy, as is TOME and most andband variants. Andband is just too bland for me to even put a serious test of it forth though. Hengband has way too many similar races and classes as well. Sure Mirror mage and Blue mage are unique and fun to play classes, but who the hell needs a cyclops race and troll race, and an ogre race? |

You dont need to play it with graphics. I find the graphics ugly and way too small...So i just play with the original tileset. |

I finished tome ages ago. I really don't like vanilla angband, just like Moria, too bland. These days I've been playing Civ 1&2&3, a tad of Morrowind modding, and just lounging, I'll play ADOM when the new one comes out... a very long wait! |

Lol, u can adjust te tile size. First, pick big tiles, then increase tile height etc... Hengband&Others are nice to starters, like me. I have died in hengband about 50000 times. <xxxxo~~~~oxxxx> SWORDCHUK |

hey @ i need some help with hengband. what are the viens on the walls. when i "look" at them it says they have treasure in them. but i dont know what to do about it. sry for no posting from me for a while, i have been thinking, and it seems im gonna get a new hyper computer. yay. Waited for new comp about 4 years:P Veins are gold or somethin good in walls, u can (T)unnel them, even whitout pick axe, but it will take a while.
