does anyone here ever play them? i played achaea for a few days. it was pretty fun but alittle too time consuming for me. i want something i can just jump into. im thinking about maybe working on an Adom based mud. anyone have any suggestions? For the Good "Bob" selleth all, even the least and the last; and all buyers are joyous unto his selling. I used to play them all the time. My favorite was Dragons Gate, one that Aol used to run a while back. Of course it cost money...and drained my wallet. Ive recently been playing Icesus MUD, though i really dont have time for that anymore. |

I played Rock:crashed plane for months...great game. Very unique...crappy player atmosphere if I remember correctly though. You feel a surge of power. Suddenly your extraordinary carrying capacity fails you. You are crushed by the tons of luggage you are carrying. You die... Indeed Muds are time-consuming! Armada w/ what name u play(ed) Ice? I swapped ADOM to Icesus for the lack of new version of adom and the ADSL line I got :F |

I had a few name changes... I started off as Raal, then deleted him for some reason i cant remember. Started a new character named Armada, but they made me change it, so i stuck with Andin |

They don't have any graphics, achaea kinda looks like adom once in a while, when you explore the wilderness of subdivisions, but other than that it is all just words, you know, descriptions of rooms, and combat and stuff. |

I've played Icesus for a tiny little wittle while. I think it's an user-friendly MUD- you don't have to install or subscribe. Just create a char and remember it. and the help is pretty good. and you can always ask other players.
