I think I've read that you can somehow create herbs with holy water and herb seed but how do you do it if it is possible.

You can 'U' potion of holy water on a spot and there is a said to be 50% chance that there will grow a herb bush..
Personally I think this happens more selldom than 50% even though I always ware ankh and luck intrinsics..

I think this can be done on every level but there will only be a chance for regrowth in a level which had herbs originally.

Another annoying thing is that the newly made herbs often seem to wither before you have time to grow atleast the required 3 to ensure regrowth.

But it is a good way to quickly correct your misstake if you overharvest a field.

I think all levels support herb growth in the newest versions. Not sure though.
If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
