He disappears at level 6 for non-trolls. Makes things hard for mindcrafters. He also won't appear unless you've got the quest from Tywatt Pare. What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |

I usually get the quest if my char's tough enough to handle it; and only fight him if I randomly encounter him on my way elsewhere. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

He is worth looking for if you can. The 3000 gold is very handy!Plus you can usually get a short bow and a heap of arrows. Sometimes you may find a long bow.. I think I've found one once or twice. |

I always look for him, even though I often play dwarves and have no reason to. (Already lawful, already have detect traps so I don't need the gold). It's a habit I just can't break. But if it takes more than 20 days to find him I start a new game, sometimes I'll start over after 10 days if I'm in a fussy mood. |
