TotRR has got some NICE intrinsics to it, but I'd guess Needle&Sting do more damage. I almost always use polearms as much as I can so I'd probably use TotRR as I'd be proficient with it by the time I'd get it. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. ToTRR is better because it's a polearm, which means dv. I had needle & Sting with some of my winning characters, who had used polearms the whole game, and the DV drop using the twins was awfull... sure, they were almost instakill, but wait for that doppleganger lord to pop out and whack you in a turn or two.. edit: and ofcourse I ment dp king [Edited 1 time, last edit on 3/26/2004 at 17:29 (GMT -5) by Maastonakki] |

That exact thing happened to me the first time i ever got the twins :) I thought i was invincible and charged a tension room without thinking, next thing a doppleganger king had took me from 600hp to -50 ish in 2 hits! Needless to say i was gutted, but i've never made that mistake again!
