I haven't played this game for so long, maybe a month. This is one of the places I have never been @ except for my 2 best chars when I was a total noob that ended 1 step from the staircase. Since then I've kept away from this place. I've heard alot about nice items in here, gremlin trick, potions of exchange and such. Could anyone tell me what that's about? Now that I atleast have been close to the gate (died @ dlvl 50) I feel like I'm ready to take it on. Tips please ;) |

woah, slow down there son. DH isn't that bad. As long as you have some means of escape (ie. high speed, teleportation or 7LBs) it's no problem. Scrolls of magic mapping are nice too. The 'tricks' in there are based on the fact that it has a very high danger level, and consequently will give you better results for certain things, such as: scrolls of familar summoning: balors, greater elementals, greater moloch etc. are common dipping items in blessed potions of exchange: supposedly gets better results if you do it in a more dangerous place gremlin farming (bringing fluff balls onto water traps): the gremlins will drop nice stuff What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |

I was going to make a thread to tell my story, but this thread will do: I had 13 blessed potions of exchange and was on DH2, i dipped my 4 rings of stun resistance into the PoExchange twice and got 4 RoDjinn! then i dipped my potions of carrot juice into the PoExchange and got 4 potoins of education, done it again and got 4 potions of gain attributes, and 4 potions of boost mana. YAY!!!!! (I blessed the Boost Mana and drank them just before i went to the casino for the first time, my mana was boosted to about 60+, and i found the Robes of Resistance, Skull Crusher, Emerald Dagger, another ring of the djinn, phase daggers, sword sharpness, and about a dozen potions of Training...) Ps: The char was a male Drakeling Ranger, born under the raven sign. |
