Oooh, i've seen similar thing last week -- a tension room across the river with dozens of stone golems. So my char "Rose" put a necklace of eye on and throw rocks across the water and killed them all ... they couldn't even touch a straw of hair of the char! |

Seems to me like a cross-shaped lesser vault with river running through it. I've had couple of them (not necessarily cross-shaped through) myself. They can be quite annoying if the char hasn't got on-demand teleportation and teleport control or ways of efficiently kill monsters from distance. Could be worse, though. I've seen rivers run through vaults, and squares that would have monsters on them can't be rivers and are generated as land instead, so you can usually walk over a river if it goes through a vault. Pretty handy. |

btw greater blin dog vault wouldn't even be bad, since there's a limit how many monsters can be on the level at the same time, and so on.. and daahkah, the blink dogs usually give you about 10 rounds before calling their friends and I am drunk so there must be a vein of koskenkorva some where in finland and the headphones of mine just suck so I'm very pissed off atm. |
