Well, the forums are back up, but it seems that not without loss. While I think most of us have found this annoying, I have a strange feeling that mike2 loved an excuse to use the old forums...

Yeah, I hate crackers, though I have to kick myself for using the same password for my acount as the one I used to logg into the admin tools. The database was just lying there waiting for someone to download it and read my password.

That problem have been fixed though. I even left a nice little suprice for anyone trying to repeat the trick.

I didn't use it as an excuse to use the old forums, I only used them becuase these were down. Jan, is the little surprise a virus that will infect the hacker's computer? I hope that nobody ever hacks into your site again.

Nah, not exactly a virus. I thought about it, but figured it would be too extreme in case someone "accidentaly" downloaded the file...

If anyone open the file in Access they will just get a message that basicaly tell them to "get lost" (the database is otherwise empty). The form is also modal and run an infinete loop that force the user to kill the access process with Crtl + Alt + Del. I created it mostly to blow off some steam, I doubht it will deteer anyone, but at least downloading the file will be a complete waste of time...
