A Windows patcher for the ingot crash bug is now available. ToGu was kind to put it together with his patches at his ADOM information page: http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~houeland/adom/ The patches are also available as a raw list of changes. They will also be distributed with AdomBot from now on. |

What's the ingot crash bug? Signal 11 or 291 or what? If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Yep, but those are generic error messages. One of them is the error code for "General protection fault", AKA "Access violation", when an application tried to read memory from an address where it doesn't have access. But that bug caused one of those signals to be raised. Of course, there might be other bugs that raise these signals, although none have been spotted ATM (AFAIK). |
