I am stuck in the "Carpenter Dungeon" becuase there is not a single stair going down. I would post a screen but it is on my laptop. There is one dark room, but I can't find anything in it. This is the second time this has happened to this character, though I was lucky enough to find a secret door. |

There is always a down staircase, get a scroll of magic mapping, or just go to all the spaces that look like a secret door and "s"earch it. "I concur that we are both atheists. I just believe in one less god than you do. When you come to realize why you dismiss all the other possible gods out there, you will know why I dismiss yours. |

That or hes at the bottom of the dungeon. All dungeons have a bottom, except for one special little baby. And some are even skeptical about that |

All dungeon levels of adom take roughly the whole screen. If you can see that nothing leads to a section of the screen(like 1/4 of the screen) you can rest assured there's a secret passage somewhere leading to that place. A few exeptions to this rule though, but those are special places. If you want a couple of tips on how to find secret doors easier, (SPOILY, I guess) holla and someone will let you know. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Thanks, I'll try that. I didn't remember the (s)earch command. I know I am not at the bottom, just level 2. I think there are 7 levels. Anyway, thanks for your help. |

Hehe. That is funny. I couldn't have done that, because by the time I knew how to pick stuff up, I knew how to get into towns. Funny story though :-D Ahhh... I'm too lazy to think of one right now. Maybe later. |

I read the whole manual before I started playing at all. And boy, that's kind of hard to understand when you've never played a roguelike game in your life. |
