Not actually a death but I losta a promising character only because I forgot to cast SoA and then I got overburdened so I couldn't move, and believe it or not I was standing at the entrance of the Minotaur Maze and my level wasn't high enough so I couldn't enter the maze to cast SoA, but I couldn't move either. Hah! I thought the same thing happened to me yesterday.. But instead i got overburdened just when passing over the river, and there were nog means to enter. But fortunatly I had enough spenseweeds to survive while surching until the water cave appeard just under my feet so I could enter it to cast SoA. |

I always use Strength of Atlas. It really cuts the food you need and it makes you able to carry more food. Longer trips are possible. And you can pick up everything you see. But i play wizards all the time, so i don't know how cool SoA is for fighter classes. Klavert -I want ye to slay a rat to prove your valor- Thrundarr That really happened to me :D |

For a figther its pretty cool but first you have to find the speelbook after that read it and some fighters are not that smart and it might blow in your face it hapened to me with a low level fighter |

See, that's why I'm careful about SoA. I get the carrying talents no matter what, even with wizards, so I usually won't be carrying more than I can hold at Strained! and I never carry enough to crush me, not even for a second. I can happily say I've never had a SoA related death. You probably want to punch me now, eh? |

Not really. Ive only had strength of Atlas once. got it with a wizard as a starting spellbook, and it didn't help out too much then, so ive never abused it :) |
