To gain special class items such as SLB for Bards, you need to gain the talents Boon to the Family, Charming and Heir. All of these talents have a prerequisite of PC:1 which means you must be given 3 talents at character creation and choose these talents immediately. |

If you play version 1.1.1 you need the ones dbresq said, if you are playing before that you need only boon to the family and heir. "I concur that we are both atheists.
