This new game I invented does two things: 1)Is fun 2)makes money for Thomas Biskup (So he can do more work on ADOM) Go to www.adom.de and click the book in the book recomendations section about 50 times each time you go there. Then, try to close them as fast as you can. Each time you click the book Thomas gets a little bit of money from amazon. Try It! "I concur that we are both atheists. I just believe in one less god than you do. When you come to realize why you dismiss all the other possible gods out there, you will know why I dismiss yours. |

Yeah, and? ... Oh, I guess it doesn't work for me, the only icon's I've got, are "My Computer", Trash and "My net" :P A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

There are several areas you can click to take you to Amazon: the picture of a book title page the book title (after "TB recommends:") the Amazon logo the links "More details about this item..." The link shown for the book title and the logo has "adomanciedoma" in it, but the book picture doesn't. Does it mean that TB does get money when I click something other, but not when I click this picture? Also, Thomas seems to suggest that you actually have to buy something, following the link is not enough... |

I'm pretty sure the Amazon thing only give him a small commision if you actualy buy one of the books after following a link from his site... Even with normal banners it's not a good idea because if most of the clicks a site generates come from the same few IP's the site will get a lower "rank" with the AD company (especialy if you don't even let the page the ad link to load properly (gives a low "click though" rate)) and the quality of the adds they serve there will go down (more popups, and "dodgy ads" (spyware, viruses and persistant popups and such). So either buy a book from there or give a couple of dollars via PayPal, but don't bother clicking the book reviews to death. Won't do much good. Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

What about the book picture without the "adomanciedoma" tag? To me, it looks as if Thomas has made a bug which costs him money... |
