destroys doors! i saw it yesterday in Arena ... so terrible ... i used all my 12 charges of fireball but didn't manage to kill him ... he regens too fast!!! |

*nods* lvl 17, after 20th i finally whacked him with battle axe of devastation for 100 times wearing 7LB (the Chaos Warlord runs fast too) (... strangely the weapon skill didn't go up) next i got a goblin berserker (easy), then a titan -> summon familiar to help -> got baby black dragon -> char died (...) :/ fucking with the post-championship opponents is not wise with a low-mid level character. I once got an ancient red dragon with a level 16 dude. that was not fun. What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |

I got i think a Shadow Wyrm twice, death rays and stat drains at that level is just not nice. |

Hm... I've never got anything too hard in there after the 20th fight. Guess I'm lucky. I always think the extremely experienced goblins in there are funny. Your monster memory changes to "they have from 1 to 300 hitpoints". |

I got killed in the arena only a few times after the championship, once by a Greater air elemental Blasting me with lightning, once by a shadowwyrm aging my silly troll warrior to death. Oh, i guess my Greater earth elemental companion going insane and hurling boulders at my head doesnt really count? |

I just got a Werewolf King with a 15 level char (go VEERY lucky before - found an sdamantium warhammer of devastation, 6d3+15, and got precrowned with Robes of resistance). Fought him until he it me for 136 hp (luckly, I had 238), at that point, I read a scroll of teleport. Unluckly, that hammer fought against a room full of grey oozes. It did well, but got corroded twice, to -4,6d3+11. But it still kick behinds :P >"(... strangely the weapon skill didn't go up)" Your weapon skills can go up just a little on 1 monster. You can't get hundrets of marks just on one, unless it's a greater moloch and grants a 20-30 marks each hit ;) A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. Heh. :) You also learn fast not to enter the Arena after the 20th fight... I once got a diamond golem. I teleported it out and locked it in a room... VERY lucky to survive. Die Gedanken sind Frei |
