I thought if you were a lawful character & chatted with the mystic, he would give you Rolf's axe. But everytime I try it, all he does is vanish. What am I missing???? My dwarf paladin could use it since he already has the shield.... |

You may be doomed - the mistic says "you art doomed" and dissappears, right? Or does he say "I've been ingenerous, keep it that way"? In that case, you get potions and scrolls IIRC. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

I've cleaned up the triple post, and yes, neutrals get a selection from SoCR and potions of insight, training and possibly gain attributes (all blessed). I believe that the "Ye art doomed!" message means that you have annoyed the town in some way rather than that you are actually doomed. |
