I've plugged the hole. Silly (yet quite common even on "professional sites") oversight. I had checks in place to make sure no forms or buttons where available if you didn't have access to something, but I neglected to check where the actual action was carried out so if someone made theyr own form to submit stuff to the server it would work just fine.

Rule #1 for (secure) web programming: Never trust the client to only send you "valid" data.

Just hope I found all the vulnerable spots, I think at least all the most critical areas are covered now...

One who is either bored, or enjoys the site they are hacking so they probe in for gaps in security, so someone with malicious intent cant do so?

The hackers black book is crap. I got that thinking oh wow, I should learn a lot from this. Needless to say, I didn't learn a single useful thing... (Plus it was written by a lamer)
