Hello, I just reached lvl 50 with my Grey Elven Wizard. It's my first char ever to go beyond lvl 15, too. However, I believe I need to find some elemental thingies in order to close some door to block chaos from coming here or something? I have only been able to find fire and water because they we're in pretty obvious places. Could someone please tell me where to find the other ones? I think theres Mana and Earth or something left... My char is in infinity caves at lvl 75 right now, dont think theres anything there? Except greater morlock thingies wich I just LOOOVE hehe... Thanks! The Infinite Caverns, which is where you are right now just go on forever...They have no true bearing on the game, except a place to gain levels and well needed items monsters might drop. You need to go back to the caverns of Chaos, youll find the remaining Orbs in there. At the bottom of that cave is your true destination :) |

Hmm.. Somehow I remembered I had already reached the bottom of that cave and thats why I only went back for cooked lizards. Ah well, I'll need to climb away from this cave O_O going to take me hours hehe. Magic Map + Teleport might help.. ther is five elemental orbs: water, fire, air, earth and mana they are in the order that I usually get them and IMO from the easiest to the hardest. Well I really dont want to find out if it ends there =) getting to 75 took like 5 hours... But I did get from 30->50 in the process of doing so. And it has taken over an hour to get away from there too heh. Out soon! wee |

Oh and anyone know why I cant get to Overgrown Ruins of an ancient complex near chaos caves? The dwarf thing says I havent seen enough death.. Im max level and killed 13,000 creatures.. What is enough then? Also what does it mean when Im some champion of my god? I always sacrifice my useless artifacts to her, and after like 5th artifact I got some weird thing about doing much good to her and being real super and then she gave me some artefact and I got message saying I feel like ligthtning can no longer harm me and revelation tells im Immune to shock stuff. o_O You hit the Ancient Red Dragon and transform it into a mangled heap. You cannot gut into those ruins on that character. You need to have played 100 characters and then started a new one to be able to enter, only characters created after the 100 character limit can enter. You just became a champion of your god, this means you permanently get the blessed status, you get an immunity you don't already have and you get an Artifact in relation to your class, though some races have an extended list of artifacts they randomly recieve |

I got staff of the archmagi or something =) Oh and I think I made an er... Little mistake just now.. Some guy promised me artifacts if I kill some people for him, so I did... But now my alignment dropped to Chaotic and my god said shes really angry at me and im now A Fallen Champion =/ any way to get back my permablessed status? O_O I got back to being really close to my god but she doesnt do the talking trick again... Blehh... I already saved AFTER going chaotic, I didnt know I couldnt get it back. Ah well... And hey, after reaching lvl 28 in chaos caves, all the ladders suddenly go up. I just passed some wall of fire or something but the ladders still go up.. How can I get to lower lvls to the elementals if I just keep going up? No, you cannot get crowned again after becoming a fallen champion. Those levels in the caverns of chaos are somewhat mazelike. Some of the stairs do go down, but its trouble navigating them |

No thats great stuff. Went up some ladders and ended up being back in the forge place and unable to back to chaos caves. Sorry to ask another question... but how do I get to the earth elemental thing? I have searched and searched and see nothing.. I don't understand what Im missing here.. I can't enter the place where the mana thing is either. I can see with magic map that its about 5-10 squares away from the area where the ladders brought me and theres no hall ways between, so theres no doors... I tried searching anyway, and made a hallway with magic shovel but the walls stop it "nothing seems to happen"... Ahh thanks. Went on a spree with a pickaxe and found the wall that I could cut. Fun stuff walking trough those 2000 traps =p |

by the way, it is possible to switch alignment easily enough (and as many times as you want) just make sure you do it before you get crowned. your god will be pissed when you change back, but it won't have any long term effects. Oh, and be careful sacrificing artifacts. never sacrifice a god's gift back to them. they hate that. What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |
