i just died with the farthest character ive gotten. did the toef and the water temple, got killed by the catlord really fast. i tried zapping wands of webbing at him which didnt help. he killed me in about 8 hits. For the Good "Bob" selleth all, even the least and the last; and all buyers are joyous unto his selling. I think my closest death to the end would have to be one of my most frustrating moments of late; got to BDC and thought this char was made to finish the game, got cocky, got petrified by a gorgon. BAH! One day I will finish the game (only ever played 1.1.1, others sound easier but I can't handle the shittier graphics). On that day I will say suck that you filthy, biased, frustrating, PC sabotaging, mind raping sack of Fu*% RNG. Tell me how to get stronger.... |

Well something must be wrong with my adom. I tried 1.0.0 to see what it was like. The graphics were those crappy gamma version graphics and you don't even get starting talents. The title screen does say ADOM 1.0.0 mind you, so I am positive I haven't dloaded an older version by mistake. Tell me how to get stronger.... |

catlord is killed by using wand of fireballs with a total of 20~ charges... with coward tactics. having some kind of missile attack also helps when the cat lord panics. this tactic never fails. |

Is their a certain width/height/font setting I can use in 1.0.0 to get it as easy on the eyes as 1.1.1's graphics, or are 1.0.0 graphics going to be a permanent turn off? Funny, though the graphics are crappier 1.0.0 runs slower than 1.1.1 Would think worse graphics would = smoother display. Tell me how to get stronger.... |
