Well, having done a project once about this sort of thing, I'm pretty well informed. It's not "my cause"; but I do applaud anyone who is trying to get laws passed for better conditions (etc.) for these dogs. That said... this web site could really use some work. Most of it is sentimental drivel... few statistics, not much on "how you can help" angle. Honestly, asking for donations doesn't impress me when all you have to back it up is a few dozen sob stories. There's next to nothing on how to solve this sort of problem permanently (i.e., passing laws and having them enforced, or something of that sort), just a nebulous plea to help "rescue" dogs. Uhm, hate to say this, but they're just going to breed more of 'em. Yes, this is a real issue. I just think it could've been presented better. Die Gedanken sind Frei |
