argh, my PC has been permanently blind, and im at a loss as to how to cure him of it...i even used up a wish tryin to cure it, but it didnt work =( ne1 know a way of restoring eyesight?? also, whats up with the platinum girdle "True Strength", i keep getting a message saying "Your girdle squeezes your body with enormous strength" a little help would be greatly appreciated |

lol, thanx Iridia =D in the few months ive been playing adom, none of my PC's have eva come across any rooms that cause blindness (now that you've mentioned it, i do recall a room with evil ppl throwing mud at me =P) |

This is all IIRC, as I've never actually got the girdle: To get the platinum girdle, you must reach D:50 as a Champion of Order who has never committed a chaotic act. You must also not allow any lawful monsters to die, no matter what caused their death. (In my opinion, this renders the challenge impossibly hard.) If you commit a chaotic act with it on, it autocurses, and cannot be uncursed by any means. It also squeezes you every few turns, doing around 200 HP of damage every time. |

I think that Platinum Girdle is never committing an unlawful act, and never killing a non-hostile neutral or lawful character... what does the GB say? I think other lawful monsters can die, as long as you had nothing to do with it. What do you wish for? _Drew Barrymore figurine |
