I don't know whether it is a bug, but recently i've got a nice message while playing ADOM 1.1.1 winbeta 4: "The harpy decides to fight in a blind rage! The harpy attacks the harpy! The harpy is killed!" Then a friend told me about the same occasion with Yergius (there even was a line: "Yergius? the master thief suddenly looks more powerful" after he commited suicide) Weird, eh? They say that dark elves are especially good in the night:))) |

Yup, this one is quite well known. I wonder if the following would be possible: -Character wielding ToTRR in the chaos plane -Some disarming SOB disarms the char -Andy picks up and wields ToTRR -Char manages to injure Andy to critical -Andy goes berserk on himself with ToTRR... maybe it wouldnt count as a kill so you could spend the rest of your life on the chaos plane. AND you could loot andy's body. And maybe youd find the SoO. (actually i doubt that, its more likely to cause a crash) Hope someone will try |

yeah, i hate it when that happens. Once my level 40-ish quickling king lich stepped on a fireball trap, panicked, and magicmissiled himself to death. that was a pain. on a side note, what happens if you kill Andy while not wielding the ToTRR? What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |

I don't think you have to kill him *with* the trident (ie by melee-ing him with it) but I think you have to have it in your hand when he dies. What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |

Yeah I've had some really annoying suicide experiences, mainly when trying to gain mega exp or trying to kill someone like Kranf for net law boosts. Then they panic, attack themselves and kill themselves. Great way to deal with cats, just not reliable enough... Tell me how to get stronger.... |
