We know that when Alchemy = 100 there is a recipe for PoGA, which consists of 2 components.

For example if the char already possesses one of the component, we can Wish for the other component, and thus the number of PoGA generated in a wish can be more than one ^^ ...

Yeah, but so "many" chars actually get Alchemy, and the component may be (and most likely, will be) "Potion of Strenght+Potion of Cure Corruption".

PoGA aren't that high on my list for stuff to wish for anyway. I would rather wish for AoLS or SLBs. Wishing for ingredients to make PoGA would only really be worthwhile if you were an Archmage. But, frankly, if you are an Archmage PoGA become a moot issue anyway.

Its really good when poga = potion of longevity and potion of wonder, and the recipe for potion of longevity is potion of (the one i dont remember that you can make) and potion of troll blood. Then the one I cant remember is really easy stuff like herbs and very common potions. I find potion of wonder and troll blood relativly common.

I never wish for PoGA. If you wanna get lots of them, spend lots of time in ID , trade in all booze with the fool, give gold to beggars to get booze.......one game i got around 18 PoGA + lots of stat potions. Spent lot of time in ID, to collect water and spellbooks (grey elf wizard).

Oh yeah and the best recipe i think would be like pepper petal or burb root + potion of poison (for an assassin)

the recipe is usually something like one potion of cure corruption or potion of -stat- (strength, mana etc.) and one fairly rare other potion (wonder, troll blood, raw mana etc.)
What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_

Hm, then i wonder how come i did get potion of poison + burb root once, I'll admit it's rare, its more often hard to find stuff but sometimes you do get lucky

It must have been a previous version. I remember that a "potion of water+demon daisy" in one of the gammas.

a very interesting idea =

if you mix items wrong...you get a huge firey explosion...killed whole dwarftown easily like this...might be useful to warriors who need to take care of some strong monster which is hardly getting hurt in melee....also you need fire immunity for this.

I play 1.11.

Firey explosion doesnt always happen i think, i think sometimes its just " the potion of blah blah is wasted".

You need to mix items with the Alchemy skill, not with the dip potion into potion. I think that if you dip, you waste the potion (unless that's a good dipping combination, like dipping in PoRC or holy water), and if you mix, they explode (unless the ingredients were from a recipe).
