Does anyone know if dangerlevel on the current level effect monsterleveling?
The reason I'm asking is that according to my experiace gremlins start to avoid traps after abote 2000+ kills att ID9 and extremely experianced gremlins are not rare at that rate.
At 3000+ the stop to multiply since almoast all of them succeds in avoiding..

But now I'm searching for a book of Magic Lock for an experiment of mine, and just because I want it I won't get it. You know the drill =)

Anyway I have found that books more often appear on high levels of ID (coincidence?) and cause of that I'm now scumming gremlins on ID2.
And now i have slewn aboute 4500 of them and still it's rare that they avoid any traps at all, and only once everey 20 seems to be extremley..

The RNG is fun btw..
4PoGA during this scumming but NOT ONE SINGLE plain potion of water...
Have only had 4 so far in this game at lv23 and 2 of them was bought..

they stop multiplying because you probably have a huge swarm of worms, choas rats, or jellies elsewhere on the level, and there are too many monsters for the gremlins to keep multiplying. This could happen at 1000 kills, or 3000, etc. Did you find the problem?

No thats not it..
They get experianced and start to avoid the water as discussed in another thread.

"The gremlin barly avoids to get hit by the gush of water" or something

You know you can lock doors with keys?
Just look at the closed door and it tells what kind of key to use.

That comment is a bit disconbobulating...

But it is not a coincidence.. books have danger level 1, so they are most likely to appear on lvl 1/2

Since the dungeon travels downwards from the surface a high level could be one close to the ground, as I ment.
But ofcourse there is room for a missunderstanding here since I could have been refering to the number on the level..

Anyway Molach, though I have played this game for maby 7 years I must admit I didn't know that!
=)
But I got alot of other useful books, not to mention the PoGA so the scumming wasn't all in vain..
Anyway I find this absence of water quite strange..

Water is level 2 in danger lvl iirc...

search on 6/7
